Social Distortion é uma banda de punk rock de San Diego - CA, formada em 1978 pelo guitarrista, vocalista e Líder, Mike Ness e é considerada por muitos uma das principais responsáveis pelo "renascimento" do Punk Rock na década de 80.
Eu não tinha conhecimento da banda até coisa de 10 anos atrás, quando me foi apresentada por um amigo/irmão que é totalmente viciado. Hoje, passado tanto tempo, me pergunto como esse som pode ser tão pouco conhecido/divulgado por aqui.
Agora em abril, os californianos farão sua primeira tour latino-americana, passando pela Argentina e Brasil, o que está gerando uma grande expectativa tanto por parte da banda quanto de seus assíduos fas.
No Brasil, se apresentam dia 15/04 em Porto Alegre (Casa do Gaúcho), 16/04 no Rio de Janeiro (Circo Voador), 17/04 em São Paulo (Via Funchal) e encerrando a tour em 18/04 em Curitiba (Curitiba Master Hall).
Infelizmente, por motivos alheios a minha vontade, não estarei presente a nenhum desses shows por motivos alheios a minha vontade, mas tenho certeza de que será inesquecível para quem for!
